THE ASSIGNMENT
European Leagues is an umbrella organization representing national competitions within European professional football. With 38 member leagues, the organization is dedicated to promoting growth and innovation in professional football.
To better serve its members, European Leagues tasked Hypercube with developing a data platform that provides deep insights into player playing time across Europe. The dashboard answers key questions such as: How much playing time do young players receive? How does this compare to other leagues? Which clubs contribute the most to youth development? And how do these young players progress?
Additionally, the Players Platform supports discussions on player workload and the increasingly packed football calendar, while also helping improve internal processes within the leagues.
THE PLATFORM
Hypercube developed an interactive online tool that allows users to easily navigate through the data and analyses. The tool offers functionalities for searching, filtering, comparing, and benchmarking. The information is available at various levels, from league and club to individual players.
European Leagues has officially launched the platform, and Hypercube provided a demonstration to representatives of the affiliated national competitions.
