THE QUESTION
In North Holland, an interoperable area subscription is accepted by carriers under the guidance of Vervoerregio Amsterdam. This subscription is valid in 11 concessions and with five carriers. The client was looking for a party that provides distribution keys on a quarterly basis and supports the clients with insights and reports.
HYPERCUBE’S WORK
Initially, the existing working method around yield distribution and reporting was adopted one-to-one. After this was carried out to satisfaction, new insights were made available. These are based on algorithms already developed at Hypercube in similar assignments. Finally, a new information portal was made available. In this way, the transport operators and the transport region have the desired information available more quickly in a more appealing format.
RESULT AND FUTURE WORK
On a quarterly basis, Hypercube makes the distribution keys and financial settlement available to the parties involved. Hypercube also advises the Vervoerregio Amsterdam and affiliated transport operators on the future prospects of this subscription and helps to find an alternative once the new public transport payment is in production.
