In 2015, Heracles Almelo had become a stable Eredivisie club. In order to maintain this status in the future, it was important that a stadium of sufficient capacity and quality be realized. Hypercube was asked to guide the process to achieve a stadium that would meet all requirements.

Hypercube guided the preparation process and assisted Heracles with the many questions that came to the club regarding finances and the exact stadium specifications. Assistance was also provided in coordination with the constructor , municipality and capital providers. Hypercube took on several roles in this. For example, analyses were carried out to substantiate the choices in planning with the correct figures.

Hypercube also ensured that all necessary processes were set in motion and got rightfully implemented. A business case has been developed that has been continuously updated. In this way we kept our finger on the pulse when it came to capital accumulation and we were also able to provide insight into the forecasts for the operation and cash flows in the coming years. Any bottlenecks were identified early.

In addition, many choices were made about the final stadium specifications, such as the seats, the entrance gates, the catering industry, grandstand heating, investments in sustainable installations and the reuse of existing parts.

The renovated stadium was festively opened in 2015. The stadium has been extensively modernized and the capacity has been increased to 12,080 spectators. In addition, the stadium has 300 seats for skyboxes and a further 1,700 business seats. The new stadium has given the club a huge boost and ensured that significantly more spectators have come to see the matches.
